A month-old polar bear cub who became an internet sensation has opened his eyes for the first time.
Siku gained scores of fans around the world when images and video were shown of him on the website of the Scandinavian Wildlife Park in Kolind, Denmark.
He is being raised by humans after his mother failed to produce enough milk to feed him when she gave birth on November 22.
Thousands of people watched Siku on the internet last week, but his eyes were closed.
However, the latest photos of him show he has now opened his eyes.
Siku was just 3lbs at birth but has gained 4lbs since – and he was just two days old when he was taken from his mother.
Park manager Frank Vigh-Larsen said he would have been in danger of death if he had stayed with her.
Three people are giving round-the-clock care to the cub at the zoo.
