It's hard to say what my favorite obscure animal is, but I've been a fan of <a href="http://www.tapir.org/" rel="nofollow">tapirs</a> for a long time. They are quite a misunderstood animal -- I remember overhearing a conversation in a German zoo where a parent answered a child's question about the animal by saying "Das ist ein Schwine." - <a href="http://animalphotos.info/a/2007/12/22/the-dreadlocked-dog/" rel="nofollow">Dreadlocked Dog</a> Nice Post. I just recently came across the Leafy Sea Dragon and thought it was a joke at first. You have "discovered" a few odd critters I wasn't aware of before so thank you for sharing these. I am a bit surprised you did not include the OKAPI though. Or possibly the WHALE SHARK as well. Great job! I LOVE this!! We spent hours every week tearing the cords apart so they didn't mat together. Literally about two hours every weekend I love the blob fish and the dumbo octopus, how cute!
